In a couple hours (at 6pm, to be exact), I will be learning me some square-dancing at Chicago SummerDance. Y'all should come down and join me.

A couple of times this week, just south of Union Station, there has been a "come visit Mexico" truck. This truck is ingeniously designed with transparent walls and a heater, so bikini-clad women can frolic with beachballs in the middle of the Chicago chill. 1 Earlier, the mother of that same family had asked me if i spoke their language. Of course i didn't. The ensuing discussion revealed that the son and daughter had failed to pay attention to the loudspeaker system and had thus missed their flight. Had the mother spoken fluent English, i doubt they would have missed it.
